Persilat (The International Pencak Silat Federation) PERSILAT is the abbreviation of Persekutuan Pencak Silat Antar Bangsa or The International Pencal Silat Federation founded by Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and Berunei Darussalam on March 11, 1980 in Jakarta.
The Organization of Persilat Persilat World Federation Develop, promote, maintain and improve the Pencak Silat world affairs. Persilat Regional Federation Develop, promote, maintain and improve the Pencak Silat regional affairs.
National Pencak Silat Federation Develop, promote, maintain and improve the Pencak Silat national affairs. Category of Membership The Founder Member The National Pencak Silat Organization Founding PERSILAT i.e : IPSI - Indonesia PERSISI - Singapore PESAKA - Malaysia PESIB - Berunei Darussalam The Affiliated Member A national level Pencak Silat Association recognized by the national authorized agency of the respective country. The Associated Member A national level Pencak Silat Association or a club of Pencak Silat that has not been recognized yet by the national authorized agency of the respective country. The Junior Member A Pencak Silat club or individual, which has just been appointed to represent PERSILAT in their respective country.
